Springtail bugs
Color: The color of springtails ranges from a dark grey shade to a whitish hue.
Size: About 1 to 3 mm long
Description: Springtails are small insects with three pairs of legs and short antennae. They don’t have wings and have a long clasp-like extension called a furcula at the end of their abdomen that folds underneath their body. They are often found in damp areas such as soil, mulch, and leaf litter. They are harmless to humans and pets, but can become a nuisance when found in large numbers in homes.
